The idea of establishing an Islamic hospital in the city of Aqaba first emerged at the beginning of the 1990s, following the successful experience of the Islamic Hospital in Amman, and given that Aqaba is the city that is located the furthest from Amman. and the fact that there was only one hospital in the city of Aqaba affiliated with the Royal Medical Services.
